Needham Family Farm, LLC was formed in 2008. Our farm is a diversified family operation.

The Needham Family Farm is devoted to preserving and enhancing the natural environment. Producing tasty, healthy, safe, sustainably-produced food.  Treating animals humanely. Creating a positive, friendly experience for those who visit our farm. Providing education to the community about healthy, local food and sustainable production practices. Building a profitable business which can be passed down to our children.

We produce a variety of organically -grown vegetables and small fruits. We also produce pastured eggs and chickens.

Happy chickens lay more eggs!!!  Our laying flock is mixed breeds, Black Australorps, Buff Orpingtons, Auracanas, Speckled Sussex, Wyandottes, Rhode Island Reds, Barred Rocks and more.  Our layer chickens are never caged. In the warmer months, they are housed in a wired coop with free access to a large fenced area. The pasture is rotated periodically. In the winter, the laying hens are housed in an airy hoophouse. The layers are allowed to free range on warm winter days. We raise both White Cornish Cross and French Red Roasting Chickens. Meat chickens are humanely processed on the farm in late-July.

Kristen and Evelyn make a variety of baked goods and preserves with seasonally available fruits and vegetables. Bakery items include vegetarian quiches, fruit pies, flourless chocolate cake, and raspberry muffins. All baked goods are made with our own eggs.

Pickles, Jams, Jellies and Salsa are made, when the produce is in season. Preserves are usually available into the winter months.
